- The Empire Comedy Classic is a Comedy Competition consisting of a maximum of 48 comedians, competing for a CASH PRIZE, a spot on the 2 Year Anniversary Weekend in December, as well as being added to Empire's rotation of comics opening for National Headliners. Comics will be challenged to perform for 5 minutes in Rd 1, and as they advance, the time of their performance will increase. The 3 comics that make it to the finals will perform for 18 minutes! Submissions are $5 and will Open on Monday, March 17th, closing on Friday, April 18th.
